Search Engine Optimization (or SEO) is probably the least understood part of Internet Marketing. The whole arena is full of opinions, myths and rumors. Why? Because only a MINISCULE handful of people on the entire planet know what the Google algorithm is, or for that matter the algorithm used by Yahoo or any of the other search engines.
What’s an algorithm? Here’s the official definition:
“a set of rules for solving a problem in a finite number of steps, as for finding the greatest common divisor”
Now, these “sets of rules” determine what the software (known as ’spiders’ or ‘crawlers’) will report back to the search-engine (Google or Yahoo, which are really the only significant players now).
However, once you know what the search-engines are actually looking for (relevant CONTENT) you can pretty much figure-out what to do to make your website be more easily found.
BUT (there’s always a “but” isn’t there) if you CAN’T come up with the best content (in the search-engine’s opinion) you can always give your website a boost with some good SEO techniques.
SEO Elite is a rather excellent piece of software to help you do this. It’s produced by Brad Callen, one of the pioneers of search-engine optimization, so you know it’s cutting-edge.
Here’s a FREE REPORT called ‘SEO Made Easy‘ you can download and read at your leisure.
