In a previous post “Are You Following Me?” I discussed the “no-follow” tag that is commonly used by search-engines in an attempt to reduce spam-comments on other people’s blogs. Somebody contacted me and asked the question:
“It’s all very well KNOWING about these tags, but how do I know WHICH blogs it’s worth my time commenting on so that I CAN get some links back to my website?”.
I’ll give you the answer that I gave her and then point you in the direction of some great FREE software that will actually FIND you these blogs.
WHY YOU SHOULD LEAVE COMMENTS ON ANY RELATED BLOGS
Now we ALL want links back to our websites. That said, the PRIMARY purpose of leaving comments on other people’s blogs is to ADD VALUE to THEIR article! Don’t believe me? Do you think that all internet marketers just want to make a buck and add nothing of value to society?
MORE THAN THE FEELGOOD FACTOR
Think about this; how do you feel when you do a “good deed”? Makes you feel great, right? Well the same thing happens when you add some USEFUL comments to somebody else’s blog. Not only do you feel good about your comment, but OTHER people might find what you have to say helpful or insightful.
They, in turn, may like your comment so much that they decide to come and visit YOUR blog to see what other things they can learn from you.
ANY GOOD BLOG DESERVES COMMENTS
So, before you choose to leave comments ONLY on blogs that have the no-follow disabled, think about why you should add comments to ANY good blog. It WILL pay dividends in ways that you can’t always immediately see.
FREE SOFTWARE
Now, for getting those links. There is some excellent software called Fast Blog Finder. This software allows you to type in a search-term (anything at all, but obviously you’d choose something that you want to find blogs about) and the software will then go out and search for blogs related to that term.
The free version will find 50 blogs for each term used. You CAN upgrade to the paid version which will find and unlimited amount of blogs, but for my purposes, 50 is usually enough.
You’ll need to register, but that’s just so they can email you with other offers in the future, and you can, of course, unsubscribe at any time.
Here’s the link again:

If this helped you, please feel free to buy me a cup of coffee.......leaded of course!!!
