As you know, getting your website’s page rank higher means that you are more likely to be found by prospecitve web surfers. What you may not know is that you can actually improve your page ranking by using Youtube.
Youtube
To do this, you need to know a simple fact about Youtube; that is, MOST comments placed on videos use the ‘no-follow’ attribute, so they cannot be used as links BACK to YOUR website.
However, there ARE places you can leave your links that most people don’t know about. The place where these can be left are in the ‘Channel Comments’ area of the Youtube site.
Finding The Right Place
To find the best places to leave your comments, you need to use the Advanced Search feature in Google that almost NOBODY ever uses. Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to Google.com
2. Click the ‘Advanced Search’ link to the right of the normal search field
3. By the ‘all these words:’ box, type in your search-term in QUOTES
4. By the ‘this exact wording or phrase:’ box, type ‘Channel Comments’
5. In the ‘Results per page:’ box, use the drop-down menu and select ‘100 results’
6. In the ‘File type:’ box type ‘youtube.com/user
Then What?
Now, you simply click the ‘Advanced Search’ button in the bottom right corner. You’ll then see a list of results which show you all of the Youtube user pages that have something related to your search-term in them, THAT ALLOW COMMENTS.
How To Determine Page Rank
You need to choose the Youtube videos channels that have the highest page ranks you can find. Why? Because the better THEIR page rank, the better it is to improve YOUR rank!
If you don’t know how to determine each of these site’s page rank, use one of these tools and ad it to your Firefox browser (what do you mean you don’t use Firefox???).

Finally
Make sure that the content of the videos ARE RELATED to your search-term; sometimes people use very unexpected tags and titles for their videos. Once your sure that the videos are relatd to your search term (which is related to YOUR site’s content), you can leave a comment.
Now, very few people leave comments in these areas, so immediately, you probably have it to yourself. In the ‘Channel Comments’ box at the bottom, click the ‘Add Comment’ link.
Leave your comment!
Your Youtube User Page
Most of the other areas in Youtube DON’T pass page rank on, BUT the comments area is different. Because you have to be signed-in to YOUR Youtube account to even leave a comment, as soon as you do, a link BACK to YOUR user channel is left in the high-page-rank area that you chose.
So What?
Now that you have a few links back to YOUR channel page, your videos will get improved page rank, and will therefore be more likely to be found.
Of course, once your videos are found, YOUR website is also more likely to be found, because if the viewers like the videos they will likely want to know more about the person who created them.
The added bonus is that you also get a link to the last video that YOU posted, at the bottom of that persons video. Your other videos are still ‘no-follow’ but hey, you want your current stuff promoted don’t you?
Remember: Higher Page Rank = More Traffic = More Sales
