By far the most difficult thing about owning your own website is getting visitors (traffic) to your site. If you don’t want any readers, why would you possibly want the website in the first place?
Michael Cheney
The best tutorial I’ve studied so far is by Michael Cheney (his website). His favorite medium for teaching is using videos and he’s done a truly excellent job with these. There are over 40 videos in total and each one gives detailed information on a specific technique for attracting more visitors to your site.
The techniques include:
- How to get more visitors using free press releases
- How to use social networking sites like MySpace
- How to use a blog to attract more visitors
- How to get OTHER people to send traffic to your site
- How to get links from other people’s websites to your site for better search engine ranking.
The list goes on and on, and I don’t want to labor the point, be he really DOES cover everything you could want to know about attracting visitors to your site.
Affiliate Millions
Another of his excellent videos tutorials is called Affiliate Millions. In the videos, Michael explain how to go from complete beginner to advanced affiliate salesperson within just a few month. You can read his sales letter by clicking the image below:
His style, as usual, is relaxed and humorous. The tutorials are very easy to watch and also very entertaining. He also shows you many websites offering free services that you can use to enhance your ‘traffic-seeking’ efforts. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE free-stuff!
Once you’ve studies these, I have no doubt whatsoever that you’ll be able to make any and all of your websites attract hundreds of visitors each day and on an ongoing basis. Both courses are highly recommended for beginners, but even some pro’s can learn from them.
