It’s quite a well-known fact that to get your search-engine rankings higher, and therefore be found more easily by people who are looking for your content, you need to have inbound links.
What’s An Inbound Link?
Inbound (or incoming) links are nothing more than hyperlinks that, if clicked, would send the person clicking it TO YOUR website. The search-engines like Google, Yahoo and Ask.com work by following a set of rulses called algorythms, and one of the rules within each algorythm is that if there are lots of links pointing to another website, this website should be put HIGHER UP in the rankings, becasue it is seen as more RELEVANT.
Relevance = Importance
The more relevant your content (wording) is to a web-surfers keyword search, the more likely they will find you, which makes you more IMPORTANT to both the surfer AND the search-engines. Search engines are, after all, just trying to give each searcher the most relevant content they can. The better they do this, the more PEOPLE will use THAT particular search engine, and the more MONEY they will make through advertising.
Commenting
Now, there are lots of ways to get links to your site, such as offering a link your site to somebody else’s and then asking for a reciprocal link. However, one of the very best ways is to simply leave a comment on other people’s blogs.
Blogs
Blogs (web-log websites) are already highly prized by search-engines because they are (usually) updated frequently, and therefore offer CURRENT content, rather than stuff that’s already years old, and you CAN”T usually leave comments on regular mini-site or sales-only websites.
In leaving a comments that ADDS VALUE to whatever has been written about in a post, you can be seen as somebody who knows what they are talking about. This will not only bring readers DIRECTLY to your website, but you will also have the search engines see the link you left along with you comment points to your site.
Be #1
However, there’s another thing you need to do. To be considered more important by the search-engines, and also to be more likely to be READ by people, your comment should really be in the number one position. In other words, if you are going to go to the effort of commenting, be FIRST to comment!
How Can I Be First?
You obviously can’t keep monitoring each blog that you want to comment on every few minutes; that would simply take up all your day. However, you CAN have this done for you.
Comment Sniper
There’s a great tool called Comment Sniper that you can get here:
This excellent tool does all the monitoring for you. All YOU have to do is install it on your machine, add the blogs that you want to comment on (obviously, related to your market/audience) and then so long as your computer is turned-on, the moment a new post is added to each blog, you will receive a notifciation in the form of of small pop-up window in the bottom right-hand of your screen telling you who has just published a new post.
How Much Does It Cost
How much? It’s my favorite price, FREE! Okay, the author is giving it away in exchange for your email address so that he can email you offers in the future. You can unsubscribe at any time, so it really is free. I’ve only recieved two offers (both good ones) in the past year, so you won’t get inundated with offers from anybody, so I recommend you simply stay subscribed.
Great tool, great price! Get it!
Luke.
If this helped you, please feel free to buy me a cup of coffee.......leaded of course!!!
