How To Automate Your Clickbank Bonus Offers

Making money online should be easy and it should be automated, right?  As an affiliate marketer, you should be able to have technology do a lot of the work for you.

The Old Way

The normal way that affiliates typically get business is to go to a company like Clickbank (or Commission Junction etc.) , find a product that they want to sell, write a review on their blog about it and then use something like Pay Per Click (or preferably organic traffic) to send readers to the review page.

The Better Way

While this DOES work, there’s a better way of doing this, and that is to offer a bonus to your potential customer for buying from YOU.  The bonus can of course be any other digital product, but it must be related in some way to the product you’re promoting.

The problem with doing this is the mechanics of actually getting your bonus TO your customer.  You have to ask them to send you an email copy of the receipt they received for purchasing the product, at which time you have to manually email them back a thank you message along with a link to the bonus you offered them.  All very time consuming I’m sure you’ll agree.

The Best Way

Adrian Ling is an expert on using Clickbank, and he has produced a really great piece of software that makes delivering your bonus offer a whole lot easier by automating the whole process.  It’s called CB List Automator.

The software recognizes the order and AUTOMATICALLY sends out an email message to your customer with a link embedded, that links to your bonus download page! YOU don’t have to do anything, because you already set it up ONCE using the software.

I know you must be thinking that this is an odd name for what the product does, however, because of the way it operates, there is a HUGE additional advantage of using it.  You see, the software script sits on your server and when you sell a Clickbank product, Clickbank is forced to send the order details to YOUR server as well.

So Why Is It Called CB LIST Automator?

The CB stands for ClickBank of course, but the list part?  Let me explain: if you make it so that the link in the automatic email message directs them to your download page, you can make this page an opt-in page, simply stating something like, “to complete your bonus order, please fill-in your name and email address”.

This will grow your list VERY quickly, and what’s more, it will be a list of BUYERS, NOT a list of tire-kickers or freebie-hunters!

This IS the way that it’s going to be done from now, so you may as well start doing it sooner rather than later.
