You Will Die
Love him or hate him George Carlin made some good points. While this is an almost TABOO subject in some cultures around the world, some people embrace death and celebrate it.
Now, whether you think you’re going to go to heaven, return as a guinea-pig, ride the tail of a comet to another planet, become worm-food or be re-incarnated as Fred Flintstone, the fact of the matter is you are going to die. (Shame I can’t write a joke about hair-color because of the spelling………..damn the English language!!!).
By die, I mean NOT be as you currently are as a living human as you are right now; I mean whatever happens at death, it’ll be DRASTICALLY different from what you’re experiencing NOW.
That’s Not Good
Well, none of us knows what happens when we die, we just all have BELIEFS about it, and we have these beliefs for various reasons that I’m not going to go into here.
That IS Good
What I want you to take away from this post is this: you KNOW that things are going to change drastically regardless of what you believe, so, LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST WHILE YOU STILL CAN.
We all like to THINK that we’re going to be around when we’re 100 years old, but the odds are, we WON’T BE. So please do this on a daily basis:
1. Make the most of each day.
2. Let people you like KNOW that you like them
3. Tell people you love that you LOVE THEM
4. Don’t sweat the small stuff
5. Do the things you want to do NOW, before it’s too late
6. Smile; it’ll make you feel good
7. Be grateful for what you have
8. See the humor in things, even death
9. Don’t watch the news
10. Help others do all the above
Why? Because you may not be around tomorrow!
Luke.
If this helped you, please feel free to buy me a cup of coffee.......leaded of course!!!
