You Can’t Always Get What You Want
This is just one of the most basic facts of life. Even if you are Paris Hilton or one of the Trump children, though they will get a LOT of what they want, they certainly won’t get everything they want. (Actually, I don’t think Don Jr. or Ivanka read my blog anymore…………I think I must have upset them).
Whether it’s the next new car, dress, vacation or promotion, nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is sure to be yours….unless of course you desperately want to die, and that IS GUARANTEED! (Hey, this is light-hearted if you hadn’t figured it out!).
Your friends and family will be late for things, it will rain on your only day off that week, you’ll lose things….this happens all the time to everybody. Guess what? Sometimes it’s YOU who is late for a meeting.
Accepting this is in no way accepting defeat. You ware simply making yourself aware of a FACT OF LIFE. Once you accept this you can move on with your life and stop fretting over not getting something.
Material things can be nice, but there’s little point worrying over not be able to get them, because, a few weeks after getting that new thing, it will be just that, another ‘thing’ that you own; just more “stuff” collecting dust.
Your reasons for making money should be to make you (and hopefully others) happier. Don’t spoil this for yourself by worrying about the things you WON’T get.
