How To Get WordPress Plugins Fixed

Making money online by blogging is the preferred way of thousands of internet marketers; even those internet millionaires that don’t blog for a living HAVE a blog.

The Problem

There is an inate problem with some blogging platforms; they are updated regularly!  Now, this is obviously a good thing, in that you will often be offered a new, free, better version of the software.  WordPress is one such organization that does this.

The bad part is, whenever a new version is released, some plugins aren’t compatible with the new software and they either don’t work properly, stop working altogether, and in some cases actually crash your blog!

The Temporary Fix

If this happens to you, the temporary solution is to deactivate the plugin that is causing the problem.  As you know, it isn’t always easy dertermining which plugin is causing the problem, and it’s often a process of elimination.

The Permanent Fix

MaxBlogPress is now offering a service that will end the problem permanently (at least as long as they choose to do this).  If you post on their blog about the plugin that is causing the problem, they will modify it as necessary so that it works on the newest version of Worpress, and make it available publicly.

Limitations

There are only two limitations they specify.  The first is that they will do this for WordPress 2.7 and above.  The second is that they will not offer this service for paid plugins which, quite rightly, they say that the plugin’s author should update.

Why Is It A Free Service?

They are offering this because it’s a GREAT way to get more visitors to their blog, and as you know, a successful website is ALL about getting targeted traffic.
