There are many ways to make money online. Let’s face it, the world wide web is really just another way to communicate and make transactions with people, it’s just that the web allows you to interact with many more, and from many other countries.
WordPress Direct
One of the key ways that people communicate on the internet is with their blogs (like this one). People use blogs for multiple reasons; some just want to vent, others want to share images of their family and friends, while others still want to keep an open diary of their travels and adventures.
WordPress Direct is paid software (though there is a free 45 day trial still available I believe) that makes setting up a blog quick and easy, but there are some things you should consider before deciding whether to use it or not.
There are several levels you can choose from, including $37 per month for up to ten blog, $97 per month for up to 20 blogs (I know this doesn’t make sense to me either) and $127 per month for up to 100 blogs (which DOES makes sense because this way you’re only paying the equivalent of $12.70 per blog per month).
Of course, you still have to pay for hosting and domain names; these are not included.
What Is It Good For?
If you want to create multiple blogs very quickly; if you’re into Adsense for generating revenue, then this would be an ideal tool to use, because you can create a lot of blogs on a variety of subjects and get lots of small checks from Google each month.
If you did this, you probably wouldn’t have time to maintain them all yourself; maintaining just ONE can be a full-time job, so you would likely pull in content from other people’s blogs using one of several similar plugins such as Unique Article Wizard, but you ALSO get free content by just being a member and using the software.
What Do You Get For Your Money?
Other than creating wordpress blogs very quickly, WordPress Direct optimizes each blog you create and MAINTAINS them, so YOU DON’T HAVE TO.
What Are It’s Flaws?
1. WordPress Direct is NOT good for creating your own personal online diary, or a dedicated site for something that you personally (and only) want add content to.
2. It only works with a few hosting companies.
3. They have a limited support team, but this is (they say) improving all the time.
4. You can’t schedule posting (which I really like to do).
5. Images might not format properly, but again, they are working on this.
6. You still need to promote each blog with normal traffic strategies (including back-linking).
You Decide
Whether you choose to create lots of blogs that work (mostly) on autopilot, or not, you SHOULD always have your own DEDICATED blog (or two) that you use solely for your own content. But many people simply don’t know how to set-up a blog, let alone optimize it for the search-engines and then knowing how to entice people to READ your content is, as they say, an “whole ‘nother story”.
Cenay Nailor is, in my opinion, the VERY BEST blogging coach in the U.S. She not only understands the dynamics of marketing and sales, but she is the most technically skilled marketer out there. There is nothing regarding wordpress, she can’t do and better still, can teach YOU how to do.
So, if you ARE interested in setting up your main blog, Cenay’s coaching program would be your best option.
Luke.
If this helped you, please feel free to buy me a cup of coffee.......leaded of course!!!
